The little girl fought to stay alive but did not succeed.
A two-year-old girl died tragically in Great Britain, as she swallowed batteries from a remote control, as a result of which she lost her life.
Harper-Lee Fanthorpe passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital after several days of hospitalization when she was treated by her parents in critical condition.
The two-year-old girl swallowed the batteries from the remote control, however the battery fluids burned the child’s esophagus, resulting in a cut in the artery from Harper’s neck.
The batteries swallowed by the unfortunate Harper, according to the BBC, are one of the so-called “buttons”, which are found in many games, making them extremely dangerous.
The acids contained in these batteries can burn vital organs within a few hours.
