The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, eyewitnesses said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
“It’s only been three weeks since another person was killed in the same location. We call on the government to intervene and investigate the increasing number of accidents on the spot. I urge church leaders to hold prayers at the scene which has been marked a black spot,” said an eyewitness.
Another eyewitness said she and her husband narrowly escaped death while walking home along the road..
“We found ourselves in hospital after losing consciousness. We suffering severe injuries. What has surprised me about today’s and previous accidents is that the deceased never bled,” she said.
Another accident victim said he had a metal rod implanted in his leg after being involved in an accident which occurred along the road.
“A vehicle appeared out of nowhere and rammed into my motorcycle as I was parking it. Before I lost consciousness, the last thing I saw was my motorcycle approaching me,” he said.
He believed there were forces at work claiming people’s lives through accidents.
“We’ve been traveling on this road for years, but the number of accidents that have occurred recently is unusual. I urge the government to install speed bumps because man-made soil bumps are not durable,” he said.
