Several residents forced to flee their homes by a large fire that broke out east of the Algerian capital
Four people were killed and three others were injured Monday night in forest fires in mountainous areas east of the Algerian capital, the state-run APS news agency reported.
Helicopters with the help of helicopters are trying to extinguish fronts that threaten homes in the province of Tizi Ouzou, about 100 kilometers from Algiers, according to the same source.
