Deputy President William Ruto has said that the Jubilee party was shattered in the hopes of returning the country to the politics of hatred and tribalism. He said that he will form the UDA party using the same techniques he used to form the Jubilee party, form the government, and bring development to the country.
“The hustler nation is not tribal, and we are not interested in politics of hatred and division. We want a place where we can all come together to find jobs for the youth, small businesses for the people, and ensure that farmers are taken care of in order to have a united Kenya,” Ruto said.
“We will bring Kenyans together and form the next government to deal with all the hustlers. They claim that I am inciting the youth when I say that we should first fix the economy before changing the constitution. Before we divide political seats, I believe we should first empower women, business owners, boda boda riders, and mkokoteni operators,” Ruto said.
Ruto said he organized himself with God while the billionaires organized themselves with the deep state and the system.
Speaking in Kajiado East, Ruto said that a leader who insults a woman is unfit to lead a cattle dip. He said any man who abuses women is unfit to lead, an embarrassment and disgrace to the nation.
“It makes no difference what you are looking for. I congratulate the residents of Kajiado East on their decision to support Mama Peris. They made sure it wasn’t by chance by re-electing her. Mama Peris knew there was a cut-off the moment she joined UDA,” Ruto said.
“She was aware that the UDA party includes men, but she said that she is fine with it. She said that she would compete with men as a woman. So, this isn’t just any woman; she’s a soldier. Most people will say that because the UDA party has so many men, they won’t be able to compete with them,” he said.
I spoke with Katoo and Ole Majen, and they all agreed that we should welcome Mama Peris to the UDA party so that we can compete, because when she competes against other men, we will get the best results.
Ruto requested the UDA party members running for senator governor and MP seats to compete in an open, transparent, and fair manner. He strongly advised them to avoid causing unrest, insults, or mischief.
“Citizens are the ones who determine who among us is better than the other,” he said.
