A political brawl has broken out between two politicians in Tharaka Nithi County after one of them pointed an accusing finger at the other.
Tharaka Nithi County Women Rep Hon. Beatrice Nkatha, according to Muthambi Ward MCA Wilson Nyaga (Muisraeli), sent him an abusive text message.
Hon Nkatha’s actions, according to Hon. Muisraeli, are a result of what he said about her on Friday during the launch of PCEA Kajiunduthi Mixed Day Secondary School.
“I believe no one in history has ever received a text message from Hon. Nkatha like the one I received. When I spoke at the launch, I was passing a message to her from the people and I said that it’s difficult to find her, but when I do, I will pass the message,” Hon. Muisraeli said.
“When I arrived home at 9:00 p.m., I received an insulting text message. Hon. Nkatha receives funding from the national government through NGAAF as the Tharaka Nithi Women Rep. My office, on the other hand, is funded by Governor Muthomi Njuki’s office rather than the national government,” Hon. Muisraeli said.
Speaking at a ceremony, Hon. Muisraeli asked for forgiveness from Hon. Nkatha and said that as a leader, she shouldn’t have insulted him but first considered what he had to say.
