The video, taken by one of the passengers, shows the unconscious man lying on the rails facing the ground at the Bronx station in New York, while other people on the dock shout for help.
That is when a policeman intervenes, who goes down to the rails and tries to lift the passenger.
Panicked people on the dock are heard screaming “hurry up” and “stop the train”, while one of the attendees can be seen coming down to help the police to remove the man.

The crowd applauds and celebrates as soon as the two rescuers manage to get on the dock, seconds before the train arrives.
“The New York police are helping the New Yorkers at all costs,” the police commented on Twitter, praising not only its member but also the volunteer, who got off the rails to help him.
