In what can be described by many as a cold blood murder, four bodies were found lying in a pool of blood at Siranga Market which is found in Siranga Village, Ugenya in Siaya County.
The bodies which have since been identified are said to be of four security guards who having been protecting several business premises at Siranga Market.
It is suspected that the four security guards may have been killed by a group of robbers who invaded the market on Sunday night August 2021-08-22 and made away with goods worth thousands if not millions.
So far the police have not made any arrest concerning the heinous act which bedevilled the people of Ugenya on that fateful night however they have promised the residents that they have commenced investigations.
