As per the report, Mr. Nthuku’s goats were stolen at 6.30 PM. He got a tip as to where they might have been hidden but the locals were afraid of the suspect.
“At 6.30 p.m., my goats were taken. I followed them until I found them in Nkando, at the home of a man named Kereru.
The suspect attempted to persuade me that the goats were hidden on his property. I took him to the Laare police station,” Mr. Nthuku told BAITETV.
“Mr. Nthuku told me that his goats had been stolen. We were given a tip as to where they might be hiding, but the locals said they were afraid of exposing the suspect.
We convinced them to show us where they were hidden, and we discovered goat blood at Mr. Kereru’s compound. He tried to persuade us that there were three other thieves involved, but we caught him and took him to the Laare police station,” Mugambi Maore told BAITETV.
