President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Government is now doing it’s best trying to ensure that the 2007 post-election violence doesn’t occur again in 2022
This follows the emergence of confirmed reports that President Uhuru Kenyatta through the inspector general of police Hon Hillary Mutyambai has now issued another public order that bans all forms of political gatherings in the county of Laikipia and his environs, adding that severe actions would be taken against those found guilty of going against his orders.
Addressing the nation as reported by the star on Sunday, President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that it can’t and won’t make sense to continue sitting in silence even as country starts to burn ahead of 2022.
IG Mutyambai also announced heavy security personnel with sophisticated weapons have been deployed in the area to ensure that calm and normalcy has returned within the next 3 weeks, even as the Government tries to repair the burnt houses and schools.
According to the star, Laikipia security designated area remains a no go zone for political meetings without police clearance, IG Hillary Mutyambai has said.
In a notice on Sunday, Mutyambai said such areas gazetted as disturbed with an ongoing multiagency operation and shall remain until called off.
