Cabinet Secretary for Education George Magoha has released the form one selection results for 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates.

The event was held on Tuesday, June 15, at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD),

”In the selection, we have applied the principles of equity, fairness, merit, inclusiveness and affirmative action for placing of form ones, and that is why we have taken long. Although the girls are more than boys, we need to focus on the boy child,” Magoha said.

Schools will receive their selection lists via the nemis portal, according to Magoha, and learners will be able to get their placement results by sending their index number to 22263.

The joining instructions and results, according to the CS, will also be available online at www.education.go.ke, the ministry’s website.

“53,000 KCPE 2020 candidates applied for the Elimu Scholarship Programme under ⁦@EduMinKenya#Seqip. New Form One students to report to their schools on August 2, 2021,” said Education CS George Magoha.
