Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed his possibility of collaborating with ODM leader Raila Odinga in his plans to enter the White House 2022.
Appearing to criticize the former Prime Minister, Dr Ruto said his policies were not in line with Mr Raila’s.
He said that while Raila was campaigning for a change in the Constitution, under the Reconciliation Program (BBI) Report, whose fate is currently in the hands of the appellate court, Ruto was defending economic reform.

- Many injured in clashes between protesters and police
- Ten dead, mostly immigrants, in a car accident
“What should we do with him while the things he manages, his policies are different from ours?” Ruto questioned, appearing to discriminate against Mr Odinga.
“He believes we should change the Constitution, there should be a seat for the Prime Minister. Our policy is to uplift the common man. However, we do not have animosity or hatred, but our policies are different, ”he explained.
Dr Ruto is one of the leaders and politicians who have announced their intention to run for the presidency in 2022.
Although he did not specify, Mr Raila’s insiders claim the ODM leader will be in debt.
