A 65-year-old motorcyclist in the USA was tragically killed in a car accident with a bear.
The Thomas Kovalik such was the name of the unfortunate 65chronou was a highway in Connecticut when it collided with the bear.
The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 last Saturday morning.
Kovalik, who was driving a Harley-Davidson after colliding with a bear, jumped off the motorcycle and found himself on the road.
The unfortunate 65-year-old was found unconscious by police, but despite being taken to hospital, the doctors only did to announce his death.
A police spokesman said he was investigating whether any alcohol consumption or the 65-year-old had developed a role in the tragic accident.
It also remains unclear whether the bear survived the conflict or what condition it is in.
Friends of the 65-year-old motorcyclist say goodbye to him with their messages on social media. “Have a good ride my friend” wrote a user on Facebook, “he was full of joy, we will miss his laughter and smile” wrote a second user.
