Russia has successfully tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile from the Russian Defense Ministry’s Plesetsk Cosmodrome, located in the southwest of the country, the Russian news agency TASS reported, citing a source in the Ministry of Defense.
The launch took place in mid-June, the source said.
The state-of-the-art intercontinental ballistic missile is a creation of the Moscow Institute of Thermotechnics (MIT), which is part of the Russian space agency Roskosmos.
