Is He Ready To Fulfill It? Ruto Makes Another Daring Promise to Kenyans

Must read

Deputy President William Ruto has come out to make one more trying guarantee to Kenyans. Speaking in Taveta, Ruto said that ODM party leader Raila Odinga wishes to use the trickle-down economic model, which is based on handouts, and that a competition between the bottom-up economic model and the trickle-down economic model has been officially announced.

Ruto said that Kenyans would be the ones to decide.

“We do not want of tribalism, hatred, and divisions. We want a place where all Kenyans can come together. Those who shattered the Jubilee thought so, but they will be surprised if they return us to the politics of tribalism and divisions. We will use the same strategy that we used to form the Jubilee government to form the UDA government,” said Ruto

“The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is a party that will create jobs for Kenyans. Today, 150 members of the Jubilee party defected to the UDA party. Political leaders from the Coastal, Ukambani, Central, Rift Valley and Western regions have all agreed to join the UDA party,” he said.

Ruto said that he intends to unite Kenyans by employing a bottom-up economic model that will ensure that all Kenyans will be uplifted.

“Raila has recognized that when we say we want to create jobs, we mean it. He’s moved on from parables and is now talking about hustlers. He said that he intends to begin handing out handouts, and I would like to inform him that the youth do not want handouts, but rather jobs,” Ruto said.

According to Ruto, women want money for empowerment in order to expand their businesses. He said they do not wish to be paid Sh200 per day.

“None of the presidential candidates are angels or have fallen from heaven. We are all Kenyans, and each presidential candidate has a history with the citizens of Kenya. I have a track record when compared to all of the presidential candidates. I was an education minister who established technical training institutes,” said Ruto.

“I was the Minister of Agriculture and I did a good job of planning the agriculture industry. As a vice president, I oversaw the construction of a railway and the tarmacking of 10,000 kilometers of road. We have connected 9 million households to electricity and built technical training centers,” Ruto said.

Ruto urged those competing with him to state their track record and refrain from addressing citizens in parables while using the phrases ‘Tibim‘.

“Every presidential candidate should deliver a manifesto to his or her constituents. Those who intend to distribute handouts should do so while stating their track record. With my track record, I will go to the people and tell them that the bottom-up economic model aims to lift them up,” he said.

Ruto said that Kalonzo and other OKA leaders should also state their track record, and the decision would be made by Kenyans.

“Raila has been in leadership for over 30 years and has no track record. He is only used to telling stories and hasn’t built a road. He has not built any technical training institute or connected any households to electricity,” Ruto said.

Raila, according to Ruto, has done nothing, and if he is given the presidency as he approaches the age of 80, he will be unable to accomplish anything.
