Egypt will send two delegations, one to Tel Aviv and another to the Palestinian Territories, to monitor compliance with the ceasefire agreed Thursday night between Israel and Palestinian militant groups, Egyptian diplomats said.
The two delegations will monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the process of maintaining stable conditions on a permanent basis, the sources told AFP, noting that Egypt was the one that negotiated the “simultaneous and reciprocal” ceasefire.
