The Kamatunda Mbeu Community in Meru County now has access to clean water after Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza donated a water tank following their request
Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza came to their aid by donating towards buying a water storage tank with a volume of 10,00 litres
“May the water project prosper in Jesus’ name, and may the project benefit many children in Jesus’ name. Many projects are undertaken, which result in the acquisition of land, cars, and buses. The Kamatunda water project is not one that will be left behind, but rather one that will be carried forward,” said Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.
“We’ve said that what we’ll name will prosper. We declare that the Kamatunda water project will grow and prosper in order to benefit our children and farmers in the community,” she said.
“May God touch many people so that they will come and help the Kamatunda water project, beginning with our county government. Wherever they hear my voice in matters concerning the Kamatunda water project, we want to see them come so that our community can benefit,” she said.
“People with disabilities will be fine when we have enough water; our children will be educated when we have enough water; and we will build good houses when we have enough water,” she said.
“We’ve blessed the Kamatunda water project and our community, declaring that our group will never be separated. It will remain intact until generations to come witness it, when it will have contributed to the growth of our community,” she said.
“I thank God for bringing us here today with Hon Bishop Kawira Mwangaza. We are grateful because, after speaking with the Mama County office, they agreed to provide us with a water storage tank. We had a problem with the lack of a water storage tank, but that problem has now been resolved,” said a resident.
“What has surprised me is that when we requested a tank, it was delivered in less than two weeks. We are grateful to the office because we were called and asked for directions in order to receive the water storage tank,” said another resident.
“This demonstrates that Mama County is willing to assist. We also thank her office because she has good people who are assisted in their efforts to help people by the people of Mashinani.
“We thank Mama County for everything, and we are with you and grateful for the tank. We plan to put it on top of where we drilled a borehole, and I believe it will benefit everyone in the community,” he said.
“We’ve seen that you’re our true mother. We had severe water shortages, and our barrels kept falling into the water when we went to fetch water from the ‘Kuuru’ stream near a hole,” said another resident.
“Mama county, may God bless you. We will elect you early in the morning, just as you arrived this morning, and you will receive as many votes as possible. We witnessed your good deeds today, and may God raise you up.
“Mama County will be elected governor at 6:00 a.m. in 2022. We thank God for giving us a good girl, and her works are good. May God remember her. The King’ang’i died and is no longer alive because of God. Mama County will soar to new heights,” she said.
“We’ve never had a leader who helped us in the 24 years I’ve been married in this community. Today, we saw our leader, Mama County, bring us a large water storage tank, which we will use to store water,” said another resident.
“We will no longer have water shortages, and we will no longer have to go to rivers to get water. We don’t have electricity and are completely in the dark. We are perplexed as to why, in the twenty-first century, we still use lamps rather than switching to light bulbs by clicking switches.
“Our savior has arrived in Mbeu, as we can see today. May God bless Mama County, and may she be lifted up wherever she goes,” she said.
“In the community of Kamatunda-Mbeu, we have never seen a leader who remembered us, but we give thanks to God because mama county remembered us and brought us a tank because we had a water shortage,” said another resident.
“She brought us a tank to use at a borehole that was drilled so that our members would have enough water to use in their homes. We pray for her and ask God to bless her and continue to broaden her boundaries,” he said.
Another resident said they will vote for her first thing in the morning. He thanked mother county and her people for their support.
“When the 2020 elections come around, Mama County should not be concerned. All of the votes are hers because, since the beginning, she has always connected her votes with God, and she continues to do God’s work,” said another resident.
“We beseech God to increase her desire to work because we know she will assist us as bodaboda youth. We have faith in her because of everything she has said about the bodaboda,” he said.
Another resident said she has done work for them in Mbeu that no one else had ever done. He agreed that there would be no one else for the governor’s seat in 2022 other than Mama County.
“As a member of the Kamatunda water project, there was a time when I was working on construction projects and couldn’t afford the costs of purchasing water. I had to halt construction because I couldn’t afford to buy water,” said another resident.
“I raised cattle but was unable to sustain the business because the proceeds from milk sales were used to purchase water. Hon Kawira Mwangaza, with my self included, the people of Mbeu thank you for bringing a water storage tank to our community.
“We’ve never had a water storage tank delivered to Mbeu before. We support Kawira because of the bursaries she has given out, as well as the work she has done to help people with disabilities and from humble backgrounds.
“We will make great strides in Meru County if we can have women leaders like Hon Bishop Kawira Mwangaza. Martha Koome hails from Nyaki East, and you can all see what a good job Hon Bishop Kawira Mwangaza has done,” she said.
“After fetching water for a long time until I broke my back, I’m a happy woman today. We are overjoyed with the water storage tank, and I believe that my ailing knees have healed. They used to bang against each other while I carried water uphill with a barrel on my back,” said Jane Kigetu, a resident.
“We are grateful for your assistance in paying for the secondary school fees for some of our children. We appreciate you enrolling other children in courses,” said another resident.
