George Ndung’u Koimburi, the Peoples Empowerment Party candidate in the Juja parliamentary by-election, is on the run, two days after a Kiambu Court issued an arrest warrant for him.
Koimburi is wanted after failing to appear in court on Wednesday, April 14, where he was charged with three counts of forgery. In order to run in the upcoming mini-election, he is accused of forging a certificate from the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
