Legendary Meru Musician turned politician Man Kinyua who runs an online show dubbed ‘bathe to get cleaned’ has exposed Kiraitu’s government for lying to the Meru Making Stars winners.
Man Kinyua told Baite Tv in an interview that in a previous meeting with Kiraitu’s government and the Meru Making stars winners, it was agreed that the winners who clinched positions one, two, and three would have their albums recorded.
“However, Kiratu should be informed that the Meru Making stars winners stars were asked to draft a proposal and urged to state the amount they had so that it can be topped up, the opposite of initial agreement,” said Man Kinyua
He commended the Meru County Commissioner and County Commander agreeing with him that all public gatherings should be halted.
He applauded them for prohibiting a meeting that was scheduled to take place in Kinoru stadium on October 2, 2021 that was organized by Meru County Government which it claimed was meant to uplift the lives of Meru County Musicians.
“A lot of people had been invited and had not yet been vaccinated. My thanks go to Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi and his deputy Titus Ntuchiu for responding and saying that they were not aware that the gathering was supposed to happen,” said Man Kinyua.
“I intend to address the issue of the imposed curfew in place that has barred people from conducting public gatherings.
“The imposed curfew by the government is a result of the covid-19 pandemic which has been a challenge to our families. It has killed many families where the parents have been left without children and left children as orphans.
“Kiraitu was quoted saying that he knew how to smell different presidential candidates just like a male goat does to a female goat, so he could choose his preferred candidate. He should also smell his staff.
“He should begin by smelling his minister for the youth and sports culture in Meru County Government Mr. Rufus Miriti.
“The minister should step aside so that investigations can be conducted to reveal where he got the money to organize a public gathering in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The investigations should also reveal why he intended to hold a large public gathering meant to kill people instead of holding a meeting to urge people to get vaccinated and prevent them from contracting the coronavirus.
“Acting Meru Youth Service (MYS) Julian Mugure should also step aside while investigations are conducted. Am not fighting with talent because I also have talent, the same talent DJ Pierra Makena has where she organized her homecoming party.
“Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza also has the same talent and was barred from distributing uniforms at Kirogine primary school. Moses Kuria had also the same talent and was barred from campaigning in Chaaria.
“We have to abide by the rules of the national government during the covid-19 pandemic.
“Word is that the gathering scheduled to happen in Kinoru stadium and organized by Governor Kiraitu Murungi’s government did not happen because of the intervention of Man Kinyua and Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.
“However, it should be known that I am not in Kawira Mwangaza’s camp but in Kiraitu Murungi’s camp. Even if am not Kawira Mwangaza’s camp we both are protecting the interests of Meru County.
“We are supposed to tell each other the truth so that we can grow Meru County. Let’s not lie to ourselves that Meru County Government can grow when we do not reveal the truth. If I was in Kawira Mwangaza’s camp and she performed well, I would commend her.
“And because am in Kiraitu Murungi’s camp, when he does something wrong, I will expose him and reveal what needs to be done. Am not fighting him but most of his staff do not have the courage to tell him when he messes up.
“It is wrong for the Meru level 5 hospital to be closed down and yet then we see Meru County government officials organizing public gatherings with a lot of money.
“My question is, are some meetings being conducted when the covid has already been eliminated and when others happen, the coronavirus returns?
“My request to Kiraitu is to investigate his staff and find out where they got the money to organize a public gathering that was scheduled to take place. In the Meru Youth Service, there is there is the money for the Youth Sports and culture.
“Investigations should reveal where the money to hire a tent at a cost of Ksh 1.2 million came from. The money should have been used to uplift the life of a musician where they could have been given the money to help themselves.
“Kiraitu Murungi’s government was lying to musicians because it was setting up a death trap for the coronavirus. The young people that had been invited to Kinoru stadium are the ones who hold a large percentage of votes.
“But when the die of coronavirus, who does Kiraitu bank on to vote for him?. I insist that I will not shy away from exposing the truth when Kiraitu Murung’s government messes up things.
“Same case applies to Deputy Governor Ntuchiu’s office. When Meru Senator Mithika Linturi does something wrong, I will expose him,” Man Kinyua said.
Man Kinyua said that the truth should always be exposed so that Meru County government can grow.
