Warunge was charged with murdering his father Nicholas Warunge, mother Anne Warunge, brother Christian Njenga, nephew Maxwell Njenga, and construction worker James Kinyanjui on the night of January 5 and 6, 2021, in a virtual court session before Lady Justice Mary Kasango.
He, on the other hand, denied the charges.
The suspect was remanded in Nairobi Industrial Area Prison until the pre-trial hearing on May 11, 2021, according to the court.
