Lorry collided violently with a van under a bridge – The video is shocking

Must read

A truck crashed into a parked van as it passed under a bridge, with local police posting a video of the crash and social media users being divided over who was to blame.

The 20-second video from Surrey Police shows the moment a truck hit a railway bridge and almost crashed a van while a disturbance was caused on social media, after several people automatically blamed the driver of the van for the incident.

Twitter users were quick to jump to conclusions and “point the finger” that the driver in the delivery truck not only did not make room for the truck to pass but also caused the collision.

However, the video of the incident shows that the truck driver is more clearly wrong, according to a post in the Daily Mail, because the bridge is high enough for heavy vehicles, ie for HGV trucks, like the one he tried to cross, but the signs show that the side limits are not compatible with the truck.

This incident is also complicated by the fact that there are two lanes, but it makes the road too narrow for almost any vehicle to pass under the bridge at the same time as another. However, the truck driver continued to drive under the bridge at high speed, hitting and overturning his vehicle on the van. But for some reason, many – automatically – blamed the driver of the van.

The announcement of the police
“We were called after reports that a truck was stuck after a collision with a railway bridge at Epsom at around 3.40pm. the manufacture. Ambulances and firefighters were also on the scene and Network Rail was informed to ensure trains were stopped for safety reasons. “No arrests have been made,” police said in a statement.

However, it is worth noting that there were no injuries, although there were delays on the nearby roads for more than three hours.
