Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua during an interview on Citizen TV said that When people blame governors, there is a system in place that is attempting to shake things up.
Senators had asked Governor Mutua for bribes of KSh 10 million, KSh 5 million, and KSh 20 million to make his audit reports look better, but he declined.
“We have been forced to engage the police because this country needs to know that each time you are blaming governors there is a system here that is trying to do a shakedown,” said Governor Mutua during an interview on Citizen TV.
