A man is facing criminal homicide and murder charges in Murungurune-Imenti, where authorities allege he killed her daughter after trying to kill the child’s father.
“On April 14, we learned that brother Bonface had cut his wife with a panga and that they had already split. On April 15th, I went to the hospital and was informed that my sister-in-law had been admitted, but that I would not be able to see her because she was in a critical condition in the ICU.
“I went to the police station and was informed that my brother had stabbed his wife on the stomach and hands. The police said that the hospital report stated that a metal support would be inserted into the hand and that the stomach would be stitched.”
“According to the police, my brother also murdered his daughter with a panga. Prior to receiving the news from the police, my brother had called and stated that he had hacked his wife and child but was unaware that he had killed his daughter. He asked me to assist him in escaping.”
