A man is lucky to be alive after he was stabbed on one of the busiest roads in Igembe, Meru County
The attack happened at Mwerong’undu (Tuesday). There are unconfirmed reports from the scene that he was attacked with a machete.
According to the victim, he was stabbed by a coworker named Julius Kariuki. He did not say where he was going or coming from and claimed to be a barber.
An eyewitness suspected the victim of being a thief because he refused to reveal his origin and of the suspect who cut him.
I left him on the scene around 6:00 a.m. on my way to work.
