Six people were killed on Sunday when a gunman fired bullets into a crowd at a birthday party in Colorado Springs, according to US police.
The shootings took place in a mobile home park, where families had gathered in a single trailer to celebrate.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, “the shooter, a boyfriend of one of the females who was injured, drove to the house, walked inside, and started firing randomly at the group before taking his own life.”
The cause of the attack is unknown.
The people who were shot were all adults, but there were a few children in the trailer at the time.
The names of the victims and the attackers have not yet been revealed.

At approximately 12:18 p.m. local time, police officers responded to a call at the Canterbury Mobile Home Park (18:16 GMT).
“Officers discovered six deceased adults and one adult male with severe injuries who was transferred to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries,” according to a police statement.
“Today we find ourselves grieving the loss of lives and praying solemnly for those who were wounded and those who lost family members,” said Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers.
