According to a voter who spoke to BaiteTv, votes from the Charuru and Kithaita zones were counted, but votes from the zone between Center 11 and Kirima were not.

He claimed that the Kitharene election was not credible, free, fair and transparent.

Another candidate vying for the KTDA director seat stated that the figures released by the electoral team were incorrect.

He also mentioned that there are four tea purchasing centers. Kiambara had 1200 voters, Centre 14 had 1200, Centre 13 had 800, and Centre 23 had 1000 voters with proof of registration.
