Students at the prestigious Moi High School Kabarak in Rongai Sub-County Nakuru County are counting losses after a fire razed down one of their dormitories.
And while the cause of the fire is yet to be established, School Principal Elishebah Cheruiyot has assured parents that their children are safe and continuing with their studies.
“This evening there was a fire incident in one of the boys’ dormitory in the School. At the time of the incident, students were in class for evening remedial lessons. All our students and staff members are safe and the fire has been contained by fire fighters from Nakuru County,” She said in a statement.
Meanwhile police have arrested seven Sigalame High school students in Busia over alleged incitement, and recovered crude weapons.
The arrests come after a fire razed a dormitory at the School recently.
