Must read

Moses Kuria, MP for Gatundu, was apprehended during a nighttime raid on Monday, April 12, 2021.

Kuria stated on his official Facebook page that he was being held at the Karuri Police Station in Kiambu.

According to sources, the MP was detained for violating Covid-19 rules by holding a meeting at one of the hotels on the northern bypass road.

Moses Kuria shared photos of himself at the OB office at Karuri Police Station, along with some of his supporters.

A meeting was held to discuss Juja’s upcoming by-election, in which the MP fielded a candidate for people’s empowerment from his party.

Earlier today, police arrested a woman believed to be the wife of Kuria’s supporter, George Koimburi.

“Cowards arrested the wife of Honorable George Koimburi, PEP candidate for Juja. She will be brought to justice in Thika tomorrow in a court of law. But I’ll tell you the truth. Nothing can put a stop to a well-conceived idea. “Tukutane Thika asubuhi,” the MP said.
