Mpuru Endorses Raila Odinga for President

EALA MP Mpuru Aburi has declared his support for ODM leader Raila Odinga and promised never to defect from him again.

“I am originally from Nyambene, where we grow tea, coffee, and Miraa. I implore the Meru people to band together and speak with one voice. I know Raila Odinga very well because we’ve known each other since I was a small child in 1990,” Mpuru said.

“Back in the day, I was arrested, taken into custody, and injured, among other hostile things. However, I’m still here and in Raila’s clutches today. I ran for office with the ODM party in 2013 and was elected as an MP in the Eastern province “Mpuru said .

“I lost the election after leaving the ODM party. I’m back, and I’ll always be a member of the ODM party. I promise to work with Raila Odinga rather than oppose him. I implore Kenyans to support our government, led by President Uhuru Kenyatta because it is a good government “Mpuru said.

“You’re in the government if you’re from Meru, you are in the government if you come from Ukambani, you’re in the government if you’re from Turkana, and you’re in the government if you’re from Luhya “Mpuru said.

“From 2013 to 2017, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government was split 50/50. Uhuru had fifty, and Deputy President William Ruto had the other fifty “Mpuru said.

“Uhuru distributed his seats across the Ameru people, Mombasa people, Tobiko in the Maasai people, Munyes in the Turkana people, and Wamalwa in the Luhya people,” Mpuru said.

“He also gave the Kikuyu people a seat. In Kenya, he distributed the seats equally. However, nobody from Meru, Kikuyu, Maasai, Kamba, or Luhya received a seat from Ruto’s share of seats, “Mpuru said.

“All of the seats went to one region, which is why we say it is critical that we understand each other. Mt. Kenya’s flag must be raised, and those who insult President Uhuru should know that a Kingpin is never insulted “Mpuru said.

“You must respect him in order to be respected. I state unequivocally that I am not in a fight with anyone. I implore the Meru, Gema, Maasai, Kikuyu, and Samburu people to plan ahead of time “Mpuru said.

“By planning ourselves, I mean that we should rally behind ODM party leader Raila Odinga because he will not revenge against anyone but aims at uniting the whole of Kenya. I have formed a party in Meru County aimed at eliminating corrupt leaders,” said Mpuru.

“By planning ourselves, I mean that we should rally behind ODM party leader Raila Odinga, who will not seek vengeance against anyone and instead seeks to unite Kenya as a whole,” Mpuru said.

Mpuru stated that he founded a party in Meru County called the National People Empowerment Union, which is dedicated to the removal of corrupt leaders.

“I would like to inform the Meru people that Hon. Bishop Kawira Mwangaza is the incumbent Governor for Meru County in the general elections scheduled for August 9, 2022,” Mpuru said.

Mpuru Aburi’s sentiments come at a time when Kiraitu Murungi recently declared his support for Raila Odinga.

“As strategists of former president Mwai Kibaki, we developed some fictions and some narratives which we are calling the demonotization. We are the ones who demonotized Raila Odinga so that Kibaki and Uhuru can win,” said Kiraitu.

“I can tell you from my position and the roles that I played then that there is nothing wrong with Raila. We had to make the man black so that we can win and we won but now the situation has changed,” said Kiraitu.

“Kibaki and Uhuru are no longer running in 2022. so let’s put aside the lies. Raila is now a hero, a hero of the handshake,” said Kiraitu.
