Mpuru: Kiraitu is finished and cannot walk to a podium

Must read

Former Meru governor Gatirau Munya while speaking at a function in Meru County wondered which boreholes were being drilled by the current Kiraitu Murungi government because there was water supply in places such as Muthara, Kianjai, and Karama where the boreholes were drilled.

Meru County deputy governor Ntuchiu, on the other hand, claims that they drilled boreholes, one of them in Munya’s homeplace because he did not manage to drill a borehole when he was governor.

EALA Mp Mpuru Aburi said that they’ve given Kiraitu Murungi, also known as Kinga’ng’i, a new Christian nickname because he is a Christian who knows how to borrow.

“We’ve nicknamed him ‘mbinti nga’u king’ang’i‘. I’d like to inform you that the old man is exhausted,” said Mpuru Aburi.

“If you ask him to accompany you to Mikinduri, he will first shake his legs before asking you for directions to Mikinduri.

“He’s finished and won’t be able to stand on a podium,” said Mpuru Aburi..

Mpuru Aburi’s sentiments were slammed by deputy governor Ntuchiu, who accused the team of hurling insults yet they are unable to say what work they did while in government.

“With insults, development in Meru will not move forward,” said Meru deputy governor Ntuchiu.

“Ameru people and I felt bad when the former government or former governor went around with his team over the weekend hurling insults and claiming that Governor Kiraitu has not performed.

“In the former Meru governor Munya’s homeplace in Nchui, Tigania East Constituency, we dug a borehole for him. He should stop going around with Mpuru, while he carries him around like a handbag, hurling insults at Kiraitu Murungi.

“How can you be re-elected when you failed to deliver? We removed you from office, and we don’t expect you to remove us this time.

“Ameru people finished with you in 2017, and you will not be re-elected as Meru governor again. Insults will not be sold to the Ameru people.

“We want them to tell us what they have done for the Ameru in order for them to be re-elected,” said Meru deputy governor Ntuchiu.

Former Meru governor Gatirau Munya while speaking at the function began by asking those who claim that there are no medicines to raise their hands so that he could see them.

“Where will the medicines come from if the budget was cut from Ksh200 million to Ksh50 million?,” said Munya.

Munya said the public money is going to men’s pockets. He claimed that Kiraitu Murungi is hiring people, such as Ntoitalang’a, to speak about how good he is doing and how good he is.

“The one who is dividing us has his own agenda. We don’t want to be told about political parties because we have enough of them, and we’ve been living with them,” said Munya.

“Why does Kiraitu Murungi claim that there are no enough political parties, yet hospitals do not have medicine?,” she said.

Munya slammed the Kiraitu Murungi government for drilling boreholes in Muthara, Karama and Kianjai which have a water supply.
