Munya recently caused a frenzy after saying this about Kiraitu

Agriculture CS Peter Munya has expressed interest in running for Meru County Governor in 2022, though he has not stated it explicitly.

During a recent meeting in Meru County, Munya asked residents to welcome him.

“I am still in the race and would like to be received. I don’t want to participate in the race if I won’t be received,” said Munya

Munya slammed Kiraitu’s camp, claiming that because Kiraitu dubbed himself a crocodile in the water, he is now in the mud.

“Kiraitu is making the rounds in Meru County, claiming to be a crocodile that is still in the water,” Munya said.

Kiraitu said that the Bus Party stood for people’s power and dubbed himself a crocodile that was still in the water.

“We don’t mind if Kiraitu refers to himself as a crocodile that is still in the water or mud. Because his term is coming to an end, we are interested in the work he has done for the people since taking office. Kiraitu should attend any Miraa conferences held in Meru County, but he has been seen organizing parallel conferences,” said Munya.

Munya said that he attended Kiraitu’s conferences and gave a speech about Miraa activities that took place.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what Kiraitu will accomplish after he’s finished “smelling” presidential candidates when he welcomes them to Meru County to determine his preferred candidate,” said Munya.

Kiraitu requested that he be given until 2022 to smell all of the presidential candidates after which he will choose his favorite.

Munya assured Kiraitu that no one could stop him from sniffing all of the presidential candidates in order to pick his favorite.

He said residents of Meru, on the other hand, waited to see what he had accomplished at the end of his term.
