A group of Mwitumura-Imenti youths launched an anti-illicit brew campaign in the area.
This was due to an increase in prostitution, wives and husbands abandoning their homes, and youth addiction to illegal brew.
The community’s elders also showed up to support the youth group’s efforts. The group was at the police station, requesting permission to apprehend suspected illegal brewers.
