ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday defended Governor Nyaribo, accusing ODM of undermining Nyaribo’s leadership by imposing sanctions on him.
“As the ANC we are opposed to the conspiracies of those who want to disrupt Mr Nyaribo’s leadership by pushing for his deputy to be appointed as his deputy,” Mr Mudavadi said in an interview on Egesa FM’s Ekegusii radio station .
For the second time now, the ODM has recommended that Mr Charles Rigoro be appointed under what the ODM says is an agreement that ODM and the ANC should share the leadership of Nyamira County equally.
“As stated in our letter of January 20, 2021, signed by chairman John Mbadi, the party has nominated Mr Charles Rigoro to be appointed Deputy Governor,” said the letter, written by ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and sent to the Majority Leader in Parliament. of Nyamira County Duke Masira.
