“When the police arrived, I assisted them in loading the deceased into the vehicle and was taken to the mortuary. Accidents on Subuiga Hill have claimed many lives,” said Jacob, an eyewitness.
“I strongly advise drivers driving downhill on Subuiga Hill to pay attention to the black spot sign installed on the side of the road. The majority of drivers involved in accidents at Subuiga Hill are new and are unaware of the blackspot,” said Jacob.
Jacob said that most drivers are inebriated and unable to see clearly on the road. he said the purpose of the blackspot sign at Subuiga hill is to alert drivers to the fact that they should use low gear when driving downhill.
