This is one of the Afghans who fell from the American C-17 fighter plane at Kabul airport, in an attempt to escape from the Taliban. He is a 19-year-old footballer who played for the national youth team of Afghanistan.
19-year-old Zaki Anwari was born when the US ousted the Taliban from Afghanistan and learned about their rule only from his parents.
He attended a well-known international school in Kabul next to children of diplomats and his social media profile shows an aspiring person.

The news of his death was confirmed by the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Afghanistan in a post on social media yesterday morning.
“With great sadness and grief, we received information that Zaki Anvari, one of the young players of our national team, lost his life in a horrific incident,” the statement said.

The post goes on to say that the young Anvari “was trying to leave Afghanistan with hundreds of young people from his country. He fell from the American military plane and lost his life “.

A day after the Taliban took control of the Afghan capital , Kabul, on Sunday, hundreds of people rushed to the International Airport , desperate to find a way to escape the country.
As the C-17 was preparing to take off and heading for the runway, several Afghans tried to get caught by the landing gear as the plane accelerated.
A video released later shows the plane flying over Kabul and at least two bodies falling from it.

Anvari had written in his last post: “To be the painter of your life. Do not give the brush to anyone else “
A statement from Afghanistan’s General Directorate of Physical Education and Sport said Anvari was among “several other compatriots who fell to the ground while flying the plane” in search of a better future in America. “They died and martyred,” the post said, “let his soul rest in peace.”
The beloved teenager had attended the famous French school Esteqlal, in Kabul, and participated in the national youth team from the age of 16.
