An instructor from Kieganguru Youth Polytechnic has been found dead at his house. The body of the instructor by the name Nicholas Njeru was discovered in his rented apartment in Mitheru ward, Tharaka Nithi County.
Emily, Senior Assistant Chief in Gatua, Mitheru location, said the CID was notified after the body was moved out of the house by the police so that they could conduct inspections and interrogations.
She said the police were fortunate enough to locate the deceased’s phone and contact the family.
An eyewitness advised tenants to check in on each other every morning because if the door had been locked, only the smell could have led to the deceased’s discovery.
