SYMPTOMS of ODM party leader Raila Odinga that the 2022 debts for the presidency continue to emerge.
Earlier, Mr Raila had been reluctant to say whether he would run in the next general election, stressing that his goal through the Handshake agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta was to unite the nation.
He has been quoted several times claiming he will give his position after the (BBI), but his fate is currently in the hands of the appellate court, passed.
During his visit to the Nakuru area to engage with the youth on Tuesday, the former Prime Minister continued to criticize Deputy President William Ruto for his policies to boost the economy through the bottom-up system.
Describing Dr Ruto for giving young people a wheelchair, Mr Raila said if he enters the State House next year, he will set ambitious strategies to equip modern machines for professional development.
“We want to see young people get up. I want my environment to be young. We will improve the business by giving them modern machines, to develop themselves and others to start a business, ”he said.
“I’m surprised to see others giving it a go,” Raila said, selling his policies, his remarks seemingly targeting Deputy President Ruto.
During his visit to Nakuru to interact with some of the youths in the area, Raila was accompanied by the county governor, Mr Lee Kinyanjui.
The opposition leader, who is currently working closely with President Kenyatta after the Handisheki agreement, has been criticizing Dr Ruto, calling his promises “empty” and that he would keep them while in government as Deputy President.
