ODM leader Raila Odinga today is expected to attend a national conference of members of the Wiper Democratic Movement – a sign that he can rejoin Mr Kalonzo Musyoka, his running mate in the 2013 and 2017 general elections.
The Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) Command Center, which is leading the Wiper leader’s campaign, yesterday confirmed to the Nation Today that Mr Odinga and his colleagues from One Kenya Alliance Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress), Gideon Moi (Kanu) and Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya) along with representatives from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party, are expected at the conference to be held at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
Wiper Deputy Chairman Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, revealed that approval to form alliances will be one of the agenda of today’s conference ahead of 2022.
Earlier this year, the party issued a notice to change its name and colors ahead of next year’s general election. It will be Mr Odinga’s second visit to the NDC of the OKA affiliate after Kanu’s visit to the Bomas of Kenya hall in September. 30.

Kalonzo had invited President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee party but the information is that the president will send his people from the Jubilee party.
On Tuesday, Mr Musyoka chaired an important party meeting ahead of today’s conference.
