Residents demand better service delivery

Must read

Residents in Kathiine-Igembe have urged governor Kiraitu and MCA Hon. Kubai to ensure better services are delivered.

In interviews conducted by BaiteTV on April 23, several residents cited lack of water and poor road netwoks connecting villages as some of the services that governor Kiraitu and MCA Hon. Kubai should focus on.

“Kiraitu promised us water but never delivered it. We urge him together with the other elected officials to bring us water because it appears that we are being discriminated against in this area.

Governor Kiraitu should stop talking about making Meru great when we don’t have any water. Come and help us if you want our votes in 2022. We applaud Hon. Kubai for constructing schools. However, he should repair roads as well,” said David.

Hon. Kubai Kiringo, we implore you to bring us water from Athamara Primary School to Kathiine.

Occasionally, the motorcycles become stuck in the mud and most of the bridges have collapsed and yet we elected Kiraitu as governor. The results of his work are yet to be seen and implore him to come to the villages and repair the road network.
