Residents of Ntulili, a sub county of Tigania in the Meru county are complaining over a deplorable nature of a key road in the community
The road is one of the main road in the community but has never seen any major facelift over the years.
They told BaiteTV that they were puzzled as to why the MCA was elected only to ignore them later and live thousands of miles away. They claimed to have elected Kiraitu as governor, but all they hear is his name.
Mama Mercy said: “We can’t locate the governor, the MP, the councilor or the MCA when we have a problem. However, when they show up at the polling station on the election day, they expect us to enthusiastically cast our votes for them.
The MCA promised us Ksh 20,000, but he has yet to respond. We’ve been ignored, and we’re not sure if we’re in Isiolo or Tigania East.
We buy water in Isiolo for Ksh 5 and in Mwangaza when there isn’t any. We all contributed and bought pipes, and now we have running water. Politicians are not welcome in our region.”
