A rocket attack on a U.S. military base in the western part of the country has killed at least 40 people, a security source told AFP. .

They hailed the election as a “failure of the American pawns”, at a time when a total of 43 attacks have targeted US interests since the beginning of the year in Iraq, whether it’s the embassy in Baghdad, military bases or US contractors or even convoy of logistical support of the coalition.
