Two rockets were fired at the US embassy in Baghdad, in the heavily guarded Green Zone, early this morning, sources close to the Iraqi security services told Reuters.
The C-RAM anti-aircraft defense systems that the Americans have installed to protect their military and diplomatic personnel intercepted one of the rockets, one of the sources said. But the second fell inside the perimeter of the embassy, according to Reuters sources.
