At least three rockets were fired today at the presidential palace in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, where prayers were being held for the Muslim feast of sacrifice attended by President Ashraf Ghani and other officials.

No casualties have been reported so far. In live television footage, loud explosions were heard in the area where the presidential palace is located.
The head of state and others were forced to stop praying on the day the Feast of Sacrifice begins, Eid al-Adha.
