Ruto: Alliances risk plunging the country into chaos

Must read

Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed political alliances ahead of the 2022 general election terming them as selfish and tribal.

Ruto, who was in Machakos county added that such political groupings risk dividing the country into ethnic enclaves.

“We will have peaceful elections, we will have a peaceful moment from now to 2022 and God is going to give us the leaders that will take this country to the next level. The discussions that are going on in the country at the moment are political plans and Kenyans should not be involved in political plans. The plans will be made after few arguments here and there and all will be well,” said deputy president William Ruto.

MP’s who accompanied the deputy president called for support for his presidential bid with the wiper lawmakers present drumming up support for wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

“Pray for a united Kenya. We are going into 2022 and whether we like it or not we have to talk about it, we have to pray about it because if we don’t take charge then we will lose track,” said Soipan Tuya, Narok county Women Rep.

“Everybody’s arrows are pointed towards William Ruto for whatever reasons but who knows maybe God is preparing you for the big role,” said Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka.

“What the deputy president is asking for you is to pray for him due to the incoming 2022 general elections. As you all know, he will be on the ballot running for the presidency,” said Agnes Kavindu, Machakos county senator.

“Let us pray God so that He can give us the right and the better leaders and that is why I call on the bishops, church leaders that we need prayers,” said Joyce Kamene, Machakos county Women Rep.

The DP further said that toxic politics triggered by tribal alliances risk plunging the country into election chaos if not tamed on time.
