The news of the brutal murder of the Taliban, with the victim being a young volleyball player, causes shock and disgust, which once again confirms the horror that women are experiencing in Afghanistan.
Kabul Hakim, a rising star of the Kabul group, was beheaded by jihadists in early October in Afghanistan. Her executioners then posted photos of her head on social media!Remaining Time-0:00FullscreenMute
She is the second volleyball player to be assassinated by the regime, with her teammates having burned their sports clothes and hiding, so as not to have the same ending.
Her brutal murder became known when a photo of the girl with her head cut off was published on a social networking site.
The coach of the national women’s volleyball team, in an interview with the “Persian Independent” under the pseudonym Suraya Afzali, said: “The Taliban beheaded one of my athletes. All athletes live in fear. Only two from the National managed to escape abroad. Ethniki was founded in 1978 and was a beacon of hope for young girls. “Today, everyone is terrified,” he said.
The Taliban are known to ban women from participating in sports.
In an interview with Australian broadcaster SBS, a Taliban official said “sports are not considered appropriate or necessary for women”.
According to the official, the ban also applies to the Afghan National Women’s Cricket Team, because some part of their body can be suddenly revealed.
“I do not think women will be allowed to play cricket, because women do not have to play cricket,” she said.
“In cricket they may face a situation where their face and body will not be covered. “Islam does not allow this to women,” she said.
It is recalled that a few months ago the volleyball player Zahra Gagiazi was shot.
