Doctors could not explain why 38-year-old Sarah Talby was born without arms.
But as a child, Sarah did not see herself as different and learned to eat, dress and brush her hair using her legs.
Growing up, she developed other skills, such as cutting vegetables and putting on make-up, all on foot.
In fact, Sarah has a 3-year-old daughter, Lilia, for whom he cooks, dresses and plays with her.
Little Lilia does not see her manola being different and is held by her sleeve when they cross the street together.
“I can do everything on my feet, as long as I do not wear my shoes. I put on my clothes, my makeup, I cook, I take a bath and I take care of Lilia. “I can do whatever I want,” said the mother from Brussels, Belgium.
“As a baby grabs everything with her hands and makes everything a mantra, so did I but with my feet. That’s how my brain connected to my legs, “explains Sarah.
“I could do what another baby my age did, but on foot,” she said.
“As I got older, I learned to eat, but I had a hard time learning to write,” admits the 38-year-old.
“Some children at school asked why I do not have hands, but for me it was completely normal. “I thought there were a lot of people out there without arms and I was just one of those people,” the young woman recalls.
