“We’re used to the police towing our motorcycles to the station after curfew, so we figured if we went to the station, we’d find it there. When we went to the police station, it wasn’t there. We divided into groups and set out on a mission to find the motorcycle,” the owner of the stolen motorcycle said.

“We discovered that one of us was responsible for the theft when he was found negotiating its sale with a client and fled when he realized he was being watched. We discovered stolen weighing scales, plates, and motorcycle parts in his house. One of the recovered motorcycle parts is said to be from a motorcycle that was stolen while carrying two gunny bags of charcoal,” he said.

“We know the owner, who still has the logbook in his possession after it was stolen. His sister is keeping him hidden. She claimed it had been a long time since she had seen him. The suspect was said to have been seen earlier,” he said

He said the suspect’s mother said in a text message that he should deal with his own people.
