Terrorists hurled a grenade at security forces in Srinagar’s Nawab Bazar area on Friday, injuring at least three people, including a cop, a civilian, and a CRPF personnel. Following the attack, the entire area has been cordoned off.
Security forces have been deployed in large numbers near the site of today’s grenade attack. The deployment was made to secure the area following the attack. According to Times Now’s Ieshan Wani, an ATM was damaged and a guard was injured.
According to the security forces, three people were injured in the attack: a Jammu and Kashmir police official, a civilian, and a CRPF personnel.
A search and rescue operation is underway in the area.
