The Bottom-Up Economic System Is Mentioned In The Bible - Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has continued to advocate for a bottom-up system to improve the economy, which he uses as one of the policies to seek votes to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta 2022.

Dr. Ruto said the system of raising the economy from the bottom up, he questioned targeting the poor, the common man and the youth is mentioned in the Bible.

“When you hear us talking about the system of improving the bottom-up economy, it is mentioned in the Bible covenant of Psalm chapter 113 chapters 7 and 8,” Dr. Ruto said.

He said this on Sunday, when he attended a mass service at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, Gatina, Kawangware area, Nairobi.

“The God of heaven says he will lift up the poor out of the dust, and lift up the poor out of his affliction, and make him sit with kings, and the princes of his people,” the Deputy President quoted the verses.

With some of his opponents criticizing him and claiming that his promises are a scam to the people, Ruto said that if he becomes the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya, he will use the bottom-up system to find unemployed workers, vegetarians and groups, a statement he uses. marking and engaging with “low-income people”, improving their lives.

He further criticized his opponents, saying they were using the Conciliation Report (BBI) program whose fate is in the hands of the appellate court, to create leadership opportunities for personal gain.

“You people of Kawangware will agree to have a power-sharing debate?” he questioned while addressing members of the Catholic Church of St. Francis Assisi, appearing to direct his remarks to ODM leader, Mr Raila Odinga.

“Stability and national unity will be beneficial if the debate is not based on creating leadership positions. Be to improve the lives of the people… That is where we will be walking together as a nation and Kenyans, ”he said.

The Deputy President is among the leaders and politicians who have expressed their intention to run for the presidency in 2022.
