The results of the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination have been published.
Education CS George Magoha announced that at least 747,161 candidates sat for the exam as of March 26, 2021 during the official announcement of the results at Nairobi’s Mitihani House.
Males accounted for 380,327 of the 747,161 contestants, while females accounted for 366,834.
He also said that the educational system would accommodate all applicants, regardless of their academic achievements.
“Every candidate has a place in our educational narrative. Every child in the country will have the opportunity to pursue a career, thanks to the government’s efforts… Under the government’s zero-waste initiative, they all have the opportunity to advance to higher levels “The CS said.
