Tragedy in Massachusetts, USA, with two cousins aged 12 and 13 losing their lives while playing in a river
The play of two children aged 12 and 13 in a river in Massachusetts , USA, had a tragic end last Saturday.
The two boys , who were cousins , were playing jumping on the rocks when one of them slipped and fell into the water.
The second boy then tried to save his cousin but because he could not swim he also died tragically.
The authorities warned relatives of children who were alarmed when they lost visual contact with them.
An hour after the start of the operation to locate them, 13-year-old Rafael Andrade was first found at a depth of about 3 meters.
The lifeless body of his 12-year-old cousin, Thiago Depina , was found about 40 minutes later at a depth of about 3 meters.
The two boys were taken to hospital with doctors simply confirming their death
Eyewitnesses who tried to save the two boys by listening to the cries of their relatives described the tragic moments they lived.
” All the time I was in the water and looking for boys wondering” why? “. “When I came out of the water without finding them, I still had the same question, ” said Yannick DePina .
According to the police, the death of the two children is attributed to an accident .
